Depression is one of the leading causes of ill health worldwide, yet it remains widely under-recognized, partly because its symptoms are often mistaken for ordinary stress or tiredness, and partly because of stigma around seeking help.

Persistent sadness or loss of interest in things you normally enjoy, lasting two weeks or more alongside changes in sleep, appetite or energy, difficulty concentrating, or feelings of worthlessness, are signs worth taking seriously, especially if they’re affecting daily life.

Depression is treatable, and talking to someone (a trusted person, a counsellor, or a doctor) is often the first and hardest step. If you or someone you know is struggling, our team is available to listen and help you find the right support.
