Health Minister inaugurates STH board, calls for accountability and reform

The Ministry of Health reports that Health Minister Kwabena Mintah Akandoh inaugurated new governing boards for eight key health institutions, including Sunyani Teaching Hospital, alongside Korle Bu, Komfo Anokye, Tamale, and Cape Coast Teaching Hospitals, the Food and Drugs Authority, and the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons. Board members are required to sign performance contracts with clearly defined key performance indicators and to submit regular progress reports.
